Global Assistance Projects
Around the world, One World Missions partners with AFCM local churches and missionaries, assisting local leaders to fulfill localized vision. We believe that strong self-sufficient churches will produce individuals capable of breaking the cycle of dependency. It is our goal to assist people by investing in projects that will not contribute to this dependency but rather assist them in breaking free from it. We invest in the infrastructure that makes education, church planting, evangelism, discipleship and living improvements possible over the long-term.
However when disaster strikes or crisis arises, we work through our AFCM membership around the world to provide spiritual and material support to victims in all forms. Ezek 22:30 says,” So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before me on behalf of the land...” We believe that it is our responsibility as the AFCM family and the body of Christ to come along side fellow members and ministries, to stand in the GAP on behalf of those that have been affected by tragedies. We believe that it is important to provide the local church with the necessary resources to be a light in dark times. This is when people need to be able to see the love of Christ through the actions of the church.
One World Missions will be collaborating with Compassionate Alliance to increase our ability to respond quickly to emerging needs of missionaries and peoples in crisis. Please pray about becoming involved in making cash donations to relieve the burden of emergency needs. Also, please pray about becoming involved in any of our assistance or development projects.
How to get involved:
*Providing food, medicines and clothing for street children in Africa and South America.
*Establishing missions training centers around the world to mobilize and equip the next generation of missionaries.
*Ministering to both material and Spiritual needs of prisoners in Peru, Russian, Indonesia and the Philippines.
*Distribution of Bibles and Christian resources in many countries, including Zambia, Russia, Peru, and Thailand.
*Ministering to orphans and providing shoes, clothing and toys in nations such as Thailand, Russia and China.
*Planting Bible Schools in nations around the world to train future church leaders.
*Coordinating health clinics in nations such as Guatemala, China and distributing Medicines in nations such as Thailand and Peru.
*Assisting children with educational needs by providing school supplies and scholarships in countries such as Thailand and China.
*Providing food to those who are in great need, including the elderly, orphans and the disabled.
*Assisting with relief when disaster strikes and lives hang in the balance.
